My employer plans that I stay only on a short term, not longer than 90 days. Do I still need a work permit?

The duration of stay has no influence on the fact that a work permit is needed. However, if your planned stay should not exceed 90 days, probably a work permit exemption might apply.

What are the conditions for a work permit exemption?

A main precondition for a work permit exception is that the planned work activities do not exceed 90 days within a period of 180 days. This exemption regulation especially applies for so called „after-sales-services“ between seller and buyer companies. There might be also other work permit exemption.
